SPARK seeks to accelerate representation and success in biomedical graduate programs of scholars who are interested in research who come from backgrounds that are typically underrepresented (UR) in the sciences. 

Application for a Damon Runyon SPARK Award is open to current college seniors and those who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree within the last 36 months. Other criteria apply. See the award site for more details
