The 2022 Gateway Discovery Grant, in scientific partnership with Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, will provide up to $1.5 million in funding for an innovative Phase I or Phase II clinical trial with the strong potential to address health disparities within underrepresented patient populations.  This significant grant opportunity is being awarded to help ensure equitable care for all those facing cancer, by reducing disparities related to factors such as race and ethnicity, age, gender, geography, education and other socioeconomic indicators that may impact treatment outcomes.  LOIs for the Gateway Discovery Grant are due March 15, 2021.
To learn more about the Discovery Grant and to submit an LOI, please visit ASCO.org/Gateway OR gatewaycr.org/research/discovery-grant/.

Gateway’s Decentralized Clinical Trial Initiative will award grants for early-phase, patient-centered, home-based clinical research – studies that better ensure patient access to investigative and integrative therapies during the pandemic and beyond by leveraging technologies like telemedicine, wearables, remote monitoring, electronic consent, and the logistics of mobile nurse management to bring clinical trials directly to patients at home. LOIs for the Decentralized Clinical Trial Initiative are due February 2, 2021.
