BAA closes June 10, 2022.

The mission of the Tactical Technology Office (TTO) is to redefine access and delivery of effects to every domain in the battlespace: space, air, ground, sea, and undersea in support of national security policy. This includes both platforms as well as the enabling support elements for delivering effects, such as unit-level autonomy or human-machine collaboration.

  • Air Systems - TTO is interested in systems to counter the proliferation of advanced Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), to include extremely capable surface-to-air and air-to-air missiles, that directly threaten our ability to engage and prevail in combat.
  • Ground systems - Technologies to improve the integration of unmanned ground systems with one another and with troops, artificial intelligence, intelligent ground robotic combat systems.
  • Marine Systems - Emphasis will be placed in the undersea environment. The maritime domain will also include expanding access and presence to new areas, such as the arctic, and in new ways, such as distributed architectures, to ensure freedom of navigation and prevent potential adversaries from achieving dominance across the globe.
  • Space Systems - TTO seeks innovative concepts for space systems that will preserve the U.S. capability to support warfighters in, and across, all domains of the battlespace.
