The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce the FY 2019 call for proposals for the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation. The Fund is aimed at preserving cultural sites or objects that have historical or cultural significance for Mexico.

Many Dept of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs ECA programs are limited to one application per organization.

The UIowa OVPR&ED requests University of Iowa applicants to limited ECA programs to email a one-page abstract of their proposal with a link to the program of interest to Ann Knudson ann-knudson@uiowa.edu , UI International Programs Grants Administrator, with a cc to Cheryl Ridgeway cheryl-a-ridgeway@uiowa.edu in the UI Office of the Vice President for Research, as soon as possible, but at least 30 days in advance of the deadline.  If multiple abstracts to a given solicitation are received, an internal review will be conducted to select the applicant to submit on behalf of the University of Iowa.
