Purpose of Small Grants: USEU PA invites proposals that strengthen ties between the U.S. and the EU through programming that highlights shared values and promotes greater transatlantic cooperation. All programs must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert(s), organization(s), or institution(s) in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.
Summary – USEU PA is soliciting proposals for projects designed for EU audiences that: Strengthen the transatlantic economic relationship through programs to address malign influence in the trade sphere; increase U.S./EU market access; promote data privacy and shared norms for the digital economy; and promote intellectual property rights; Advance the transatlantic partnership on common foreign policy and security objectives, such as increasing collective defense responsibilities; countering disinformation; balancing our relationships with China; promoting EU enlargement; backing democratic governance in Latin America, Africa, and Eastern Partnership countries; and aligning our policies on the Middle East; Enhance European energy security and promote sustainable development;  Increase public understanding of transatlantic shared value.
