The U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section invites archaeologists, cultural and education institutions to design and present a plan for the creation of this network. The goal of this network is to advance the work of women in this field, amplify their voices, and offer women archaeologists support and advice to overcome gender-based challenges that hinder their ability to protect and to preserve Peru’s cultural heritage. The network should also serve as a tool to highlight the work of both senior and more recent professionals and disseminate opportunities in the field, both in Peru and the U.S.
