The deadlines for application are:
Round 1: February 28, 2021  -  UIowa Internal deadline Jan. 29, 2021
Round 2: June 30, 2021  -  UIowa Internal deadline May 28, 2021

Dept. of State DOS solicitations generally limit the number of applications that may go forward in response to a specific solicitation.

The objectives of the Public Diplomacy Grant Program are to promote positive relations between Morocco and the United States; reinforce shared values; and connect Morocco’s emerging leaders to the American people through projects that:

•  Strengthen understanding of U.S. values and institutions; highlight U.S. culture, including American Studies, English language teaching/learning, and study in the United States; and support diversity, acceptance of minority groups, and other areas of mutual interest.
•  Help Moroccan youth explore and discover their potential through innovative science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) programs, as well as entrepreneurship programs.
•  Encourage Moroccan youth to participate in civic life through social entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and community engagement.

For Fiscal Year 2021 all proposals submitted in response to this Annual Program Statement must include a contingency plan describing in detail: 1) how the proposed activity would be implemented in the event that health restrictions are in place during the anticipated period of performance, and 2) the applicant's capacity to conduct programs virtually.
