Public Affairs Section PAS Johannesburg invites proposals for programs that strengthen cultural ties between the U.S. and South Africa through cultural and exchange programming that highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. All programs must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives..

The U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section (PAS) in Cape Town is soliciting proposals for small grants from non-profit institutions, non-governmental organizations, or non-profit private or public academic institutions. These proposals must focus on one or more of the priority areas specified below and be located in our Consular District of the Eastern, Northern, or Western Cape provinces. The purpose of this small grants program is to strengthen ties and build relationships between the U.S. and South Africa through activities that highlight shared values, goals and cooperation. All proposed projects must include an American element, or connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. values, perspectives, and policies.
