Defense Partnership Virtual Grant Program Priority Program Areas:

  • Security and Defense: promote transatlantic security; combat transnational-regional-global challenges, including cybersecurity, terrorism, violent extremism, trafficking in persons, disinformation.
  • Prosperity, Trade, and Investment: economic opportunities for women, youth, and underserved populations, and trade that improves the connections between U.S. and Canada .
  • Technology and Innovation: cooperation in such areas as space exploration, cybersecurity, the Arctic, and entrepreneurship.
  • Shared Values and Interests.
  • Student Virtual Mobility: virtual exchanges and virtual training opportunities for U.S. and Canadian higher education and vocational students.
  • Promote Virtual Educational Exchanges and Partnerships: Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) that target underserved youth; academic/professional exchanges on COVID-19.
