The Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is pleased to announce the Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity (DEI) request for applications (RFA) from SPARK (Simons Foundation Powering Autism Research for Knowledge) Research Match.

The DEI RFA from SPARK Research Match is a new initiative that aims to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in autism research by ensuring that SPARK Research Match opportunities are available to Black and African American participants.

Research Match is a service provided by SPARK, the world’s largest research study on autism, which links researchers with SPARK participants to fulfill the goal of facilitating recruitment in research studies to expedite scientific discovery.

SPARK is now seeking applications from investigators who wish to recruit Black or African American participants into their research studies. Funding will provide up to $20,000 for participant incentives (e-gift cards) in projects that recruit SPARK participants through Research Match. Applications should be submitted through SFARI Base by March 31, 2021.
