The Rehabilitation Short-Term Training program

is designed to provide short-term training and technical instruction in areas of special significance to the vocational, medical, social, and psychological rehabilitation programs, supported employment program, independent living services programs, and Client Assistance Program (CAP), including special seminars, institutes, workshops, and other short-term courses. Short-term training projects may be of regional or national scope.

Absolute Priority for FFY 2021:  Rehabilitation Short-Term Training--Client Assistance Program (CAP Training). This CAP Training priority is designed to provide CAP professionals the necessary knowledge, competencies, and skills to inform, assist, and advocate for clients and client-applicants regarding expanded education, training, and competitive integrated employment opportunities and other services and benefits available under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014.
