Note: Dept of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) programs are often limited to one application per institution.

The UIowa OVPR asks prospective University of Iowa applicants to limited DRL programs to email at least 30 days before the DRL deadline a one-page abstract of their proposal with a link to the program of interest to Ann Knudson ann-knudson@uiowa.edu  at UI International Programs Grants Administrator, with a cc to Cheryl Ridgeway cheryl-a-ridgeway@uiowa.edu in the UI Office of the Vice President for Research. If multiple abstracts to a given solicitation are received, an internal review will be conducted to select the applicant to submit on behalf of the University of Iowa.
