The Climate Protection Partnerships Division, ENERGY STAR Labeling Branch, seeks proposals from eligible entities to advance the energy efficiency of residential and commercial products. Proposals must demonstrate the potential to create a sustainable change in the market for energy efficient products and behaviors.
Proposed activities must address, but are not limited to, one or more of the following objectives:
 Conducting technical research that identifies nationally significant efficiency opportunities in products.
 Working closely with key market actors to exploit product efficiency opportunities.
 Developing fair and repeatable test methods for products such as electronics that are constantly evolving.
 Furthering consumer adoption of efficient products and practices through actionable, reliable and motivating consumer education.
