The Mary Isabel Sibley Fellowship is awarded annually, alternating in the fields of Greek and French. For the 2022 deadline, the award will be in the field of French. The award may be used for the the study of French language or literature. It carries a stipend of $20,000 and is not restricted to members of Phi Beta Kappa or to U.S. citizens. 

The primary purpose of the Walter J. Jensen Fellowship is to enrich, promote and improve education in the standard French language in the United States, through an award to educators and researchers to be used for education and study of French language, literature and culture.
