The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program competition for the 2023-2024 academic year is now open to faculty and staff. The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers awards for U.S. citizens to teach, research, and conduct professional projects in more than 130 countries. College and university faculty and administrators, as well as professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, and many others, can join the more than 400,000 Fulbright awardees who have come away with enhanced skills, new connections and greater mutual understanding.
Interested faculty, staff, and professionals are encouraged to visit the Fulbright website https://cies.org/us-scholar-awards  to find program details, application guidance and other resources. This year’s opportunities can be found in the Catalog of Awards; office hours for live application assistance with IIE staff are readily available.
The application deadline is September 15, 2022. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

More information on University of Iowa UI faculty compensation policies and articles on previous UI faculty awardees can be found at https://international.uiowa.edu/faculty/external-funding-opportunities/fulbright-programs.
