This Request for Proposals (RFP) is for initiatives that span multiple rare disease areas. The American Society of Gene + Cell Therapy and Pfizer Global Medical Grants are collaborating to offer a new competitive grant opportunity focused on supporting independent medical education to increase the medical and scientific understanding of gene and gene-modified cell therapies.

Projects that will be considered for support will focus on independent medical education initiatives that will result in the measurable improvement of the medical and scientific understanding of gene and gene-modified cell therapies to help prepare multidisciplinary teams for the integration of gene and gene-modified cell therapies into the treatment armamentarium of eligible patients with a Rare Disease. Proposals tailored to a specific rare disease or group of rare diseases will not be considered.
