The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for improving access to health care by strengthening the health care workforce, building healthy communities and achieving health equity.
HRSA solicitations generally limit the number of applications that may go forward in response to a specific solicitation. Prospective applicants who wish to apply to a program that limits the number of applications allowed per institution, must email a one-page abstract of the proposal with a link to the program of interest to Cheryl Ridgeway (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development with a cc to the Division of Sponsored Programs (email@example.com) as soon as possible, but at least 45 days in advance of the deadline. If multiple abstracts to a given solicitation are received, an internal review will be conducted to select the applicant to submit on behalf of the University of Iowa.
Note that all HRSA announcements will also be posted in the UIowa Grant Bulletin: http://grantbulletin.research.uiowa.edu. Click on the “Health Sciences” category and filter by using HRSA as the search term.
