Limited to one application per institution.

HRSA solicitations generally limit the number of applications that may go forward in response to a specific solicitation.  Please email a one-page abstract about your proposal to cheryl-a-ridgeway@uiowa.edu in the Office of the Vice President for Research with a cc to the Division of Sponsored Programs  dsp@uiowa.edu  as soon as possible, but at least 30 days in advance of the deadline.  If we receive multiple abstracts in response to a given solicitation, a review will be conducted to select the applicant to submit on behalf of the University of Iowa.  Application materials are due in DSP at least 5 business days prior to the deadline.  Please refer this link on the UIowa Limited Submissions process  https://uiowa.infoready4.com/#competitionDetail/1759769

The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to evaluate the impact of Rural Community Opioid Response Program (RCORP) initiatives which currently include the RCORP-Planning, RCORP-Implementation, and RCORP-Technical Assistance (RCORP-TA) activities, and to develop valuable RCORP-based evaluation tools and resources for use in rural communities and to inform future rural health initiatives.

RCORP-Implementation will advance RCORP’s overall goal by strengthening and expanding SUD/OUD prevention, treatment, and recovery service delivery in high-risk rural communities. By expanding the options for SUD/OUD services across the care spectrum, RCORP-Implementation will help rural residents access treatment and move towards recovery.
