The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and its three divisions – the Iowa Arts Council, State Historical Society of Iowa and Produce Iowa – are accepting applications for grants that will be awarded during the upcoming fiscal year. Grant funds will focus on stabilizing nonprofits and allow for flexibility while also encouraging creative programs, innovative projects and new partnerships tied to strategic initiatives and diversity and inclusion efforts. In addition, the agency remains committed to the creative economy with grant opportunities for creative entrepreneurs, artists and filmmakers. All of these grants can be catalytic for communities who are looking to renovate a historic district, open new creative businesses and feature their town’s unique characteristics in a potential film project

• Cultural Leadership Partners - Partners are designated every three years and receive grant funds to support operating and programmatic costs throughout the three-year cycle. Cultural Leadership Partners demonstrate an exemplary record of programming, managerial excellence and community service on a year-round basis to the citizens of Iowa; sound fiscal and managerial practices; and deliberate community outreach and involvement.
   
• Iowa Arts & Culture Resilience Grants (for artists) - Iowa Artists, Filmmakers, Musicians, and Creative Writers:  Apply for professional development support to undertake activities that advance your professional capacity and enhance your artistic practice.
   
• Iowa Arts & Culture Resilience Grants (for nonprofits) -  Iowa Nonprofit Cultural, Humanities or Arts Organizations:  Apply for flexible support to undertake activities that expand organizational capacity, increase financial stability, promote equity and inclusion, and enhance programmatic offerings.
   
• Greenlight Grants - funding to take your project from script-to-screen and become a job creator that grows the film and television industry in Iowa, builds collaboration with other in-state filmmakers and benefits small businesses who service the industry.
