The Iowa NASA EPSCoR Office is now soliciting for pre-proposals from our research community for both the NASA EPSCoR International Space Station (ISS) Flight Opportunity Award and the NASA EPSCoR Research Award

Iowa is allowed to submit only one proposal. Solicitation of pre-proposals prior to release of the FY2022  NASA Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) will provide the Iowa NASA EPSCoR Office review committee time to select one strong pre-proposal in each award type to move forward to full development. The ISS Flight Opportunity added a “Sub-Orbital” component in FY2021, which Iowa is allowed a submission to as well. It is yet unknown if NASA will continue to solicit for this for FY2022. Past solicitations have generally stayed the same in research topics, therefore the previous year’s CANs are included in the RFPs.
Any questions can be directed to
nasaepscor@iastate.edu. Links for pre-proposal submission are in the RFPs.
