Through this Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI) opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), in coordination with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), seeks applications for funding to prevent and reduce violent crime in communities by supporting comprehensive, evidence-based violence intervention and prevention programs.

OJP is seeking applications that propose to initiate evidence-informed CVI strategies in communities, as well as applications that propose to expand or enhance the implementation of ongoing CVI strategies.
