PCORI Pipeline to Proposal (P2P) Awards

Tier A awards fund the building of a partnership and an expansion of the skills necessary to develop a patient-centered CER project. Tier A awards are open to individuals and groups with an interest in a particular health issue. These awards will be used to fund activities that work toward developing research capacity, creating new partnerships, and building the infrastructure needed to conduct research. Activities might include workshops, roundtables, conferences, meetings, and other information-sharing tasks. Awardees will generate a list of CER questions that address the health issue of interest to those in the partnership. LOI due April 20, 2017.

The idea that awardees will eventually develop into a research funding proposal must fall within PCORI's national priorities:

• Improving Healthcare Systems 
• Communication and Dissemination Research 
• Addressing Disparities
• Accelerating Patient-Centered Outcomes Research and Methodological Research
