ASTRO grant applications are due on February 26, 2021

  • ASTRO Residents/Fellows in Radiation Oncology Seed Grants  support novel projects and offer up to $25,000 for residents and fellows to develop their careers in basic, translational or clinical research.
  • ASTRO-Melanoma Research Alliance Young Investigator Award in Radiation Oncology. This award provides funding of up to $225,000 over a three-year period to fund a project with at least 50 percent effort on melanoma by an early-career radiation oncologist, radiation or cancer biologist, or physicist.
  • ASTRO-BCRF Breast Cancer Research Foundation Career Development Award. This award provides $100,000 annually for two years to help develop the careers of promising junior faculty by allowing them dedicated time to work on research relevant to radiation oncology and the treatment and cure of breast cancer.
  • ASTRO-PCF Prostate Cancer Foundation Career Development Award. This award provides $75,000 annually for three years to further the careers of junior faculty and fund radiation oncology research projects to improve outcomes and quality of life of prostate cancer patients.
  • ASTRO-AAPM American Association of Physicists in Medicine -  Physics Residents/Postdoctoral Fellow Seed Grant (Physics Seed) is a joint effort to advance the field of radiation oncology in novel ways through the support of early-career scientists performing physics and radiation oncology-related research.
