Description

The purpose of this program is to increase engagement in care for racial and ethnic underrepresented individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders (COD) who are at risk for or living with HIV/AIDS and receive HIV/AIDS services/treatment.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are domestic public and private non-profit entities including Federally Recognized Tribes and Tribal Organizations.

Award Information

Funding Mechanism: Grant

Anticipated Total Available Funding: Up to $30,500,000

Anticipated Number of Awards: Up to 61 (at least 5 awards will be made to the 5 highest scoring tribal applications pending sufficient application volume.)

Anticipated Award Amount: Up to $500,000 per year per award

Length of Project: Up to 5 years

Cost Sharing/Match Required?: No

Proposed budgets cannot exceed $500,000 in total costs (direct and indirect) in any year of the proposed project. Annual continuation awards will depend on the availability of funds, grantee progress in meeting project goals and objectives, timely submission of required data and reports, and compliance with all terms and conditions of award.)
