The Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) funds innovative space health research projects and supports programs in the areas of physical and mental health surveillance, prevention, and medical treatments. By solving some of National Aeronautics and Space Admin NASA’s most intractable health challenges in deep space, the Translational Research Institute for Space Health is challenging the boundaries in medicine, science, technology, and engineering to advance humanity as a multi-planetary species. The Institute recognizes the importance of inspiring, educating, and advancing space health research of skilled researchers and especially the next generation of space life scientists.  TRISH works in partnership with NASA’s Human Research Program (HRP) through Cooperative Agreement NNX16AO69A.  TRISH is a virtual institute led by Baylor College of Medicine’s Center for Space Medicine, and is a consortium that includes the California Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
