I just received notice from the Beckman Foundation that the University of Iowa has not been invited to submit an application for the 2019-20 program cycle. Per Foundation policy, institutions which have been invited to apply but have not submitted an application for two consecutive years will be removed from the invitation list for two subsequent years.  The program officer has noted our interest in receiving an invitation for the 2022 program cycle.
Please alert any of your faculty who may have expressed interest in applying this year.
