The Higher Education Challenge HEC program will only accept Education/Teaching Projects An education or teaching project shall develop human capital in order to help meet current and future national food, agriculture, natural resource and human science workplace needs. HEC projects shall focus on one or more of the Need Areas listed below

• Curriculum Development, Instructional Delivery Systems and Expanding Student Career Opportunities.
• Faculty Preparation and Enhancement for Teaching.
• Facilitating Interaction with Other Academic Institutions
