Pilot Research Grant

SVIN is soliciting Pilot Research Grant proposals from SVIN members in the area of Vascular and Interventional Neurology. The goal is to help initiate pilot research projects that will further the field or understanding of Vascular and Interventional Neurology. Projects may be initiated by individual principal investigators or involve collaborations between two or more SVIN members. Trainee and Junior investigators are encouraged to apply.

The SVIN Pilot Research Grant will provide up to $10,000 of funding over the course of one year. There may be the possibility of an additional year of support based on research progress and/or program need. Up to five grant proposals may be awarded after review by the SVIN Research Committee.  Qualified applicants must be current SVIN members who are in good standing with society.

SVIN Pilot Research Grant Timeline:

  • August 8, 2023, 11:59 pm EDT: Full grant submission deadline.
  • September 8, 2023: Review Committee Deadline  
  • November 16-18th, 2023 Annual Meeting: Awardee/s will be announced at the SVIN Annual Business Meeting
  • January 1, 2024: Anticipated funding start date
