"Promoting Data Services in RCR Courses: Bolstering Your Data Management Credentials" on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 10-11:30 am in Hardin West Information Commons

Researchers are required to take a “Responsible Conduct of Research” course in order to participate in funded research projects. Data management is a required component of this course and guest speakers are often invited to cover this content. This is an excellent opportunity for librarians to make contact with faculty and graduate student researchers, teach them the best practices of research data management, and promote the resources and services we offer to assist them. In this train-the-trainer session, you will learn how to teach research data management in the context of Responsible Conduct of Research courses and you will be equipped with example activities, slides, handouts, and assessments you can use in the classroom.
